Chissock Woodcraft is a Social Enterprise, a Community Interest Company run to support a particular social aim. We are based in a Grade II listed Coach House in Hare Hatch, Berkshire.
Furniture Building & Repair
We offer a full furniture repair & restoration service for antique, vintage and contemporary furniture, We also design and build new bespoke furniture from reclaimed timber.

Social Enterprise
The business is led by Steve Hedger who first set up Chissock Woodcraft in 2000 to run along Christian principles.
As a Social Enterprise we became a Community Interest Company in early 2009 to further use our profits and assets to providing supported employment and training for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
Work & Training
Whilst at Chissock Woodcraft employees and volunteers have the opportunities to gain valuable work experience in varied aspects of furniture repair and making. In addition we offer within our business the chance to acquire a grade 2 Level NVQ in furniture restoration.
Our aim is that gaining work experience, skills and qualifications within a supporting workplace can provide a real stepping stone into future employment and a drug free and alcohol free life. |
